Michelle Jing Chan

Michelle Jing Chan is a queer Chinese American author-illustrator who studied engineering and economics, but now creates picture books and comics for kids and teens. Michelle’s work was awarded by the Children’s Book Council and featured in Buzzfeed, Upworthy, and the Wing Luke Museum. She has illustrated several books, including MY LITTLE GOLDEN BOOK ABOUT PRIDE (written by Kyle Lukoff) and STAY ANGRY LITTLE GIRL (inspired by Madeleine L’Engle’s "A Wrinkle in Time"). Michelle is also the author-illustrator of the picture book WEIWEI’S WINTER SOLSTICE and her upcoming young adult graphic novel, SOMEWHERE IN THE GRAY.
