How much is admission to the Bigfoot Kids' Book Festival?

Admission is free! Author read-alouds and activities will also be free of charge.

 

Do I need to register in advance to attend?

No, need to register and no tickets. Just come join us on the day of the event!

Will this event take place indoors?

The 2026 Bigfoot Festival will take place indoors at the Redmond Senior Community Center.​

​

Can I bring my own books to the festival for authors to sign?

Yes, you may bring books that you already own.

​

Can I pre-purchase books for signing?

Yes, our pre-purchase system will be available in advance and will allow you to simply pick up your books at the event.

I'm coming from out of town. Where do you suggest I stay?

The Archer Hotel typically offers a special rate for Bigfoot attendees and participants. The Mariott Redmond is also conveniently located.

There are a number of other hotels located near the festival. Search near: 8703 160th Ave NE, Redmond, WA

Is this an all ages event?

Yes! We have authors and illustrators for everything from board books to young adult novels.

​

Is this event accessible for disabled persons?

Redmond Senior Community Center offers accessibility for all guests needing additional assistance. Disabled parking is available.

I'm an author or illustrator interested in participating in the event. How can I apply?

We will open applications for the 2026 festival in February. Please come back then and follow us on our socials.​

I'm interested in volunteering for this event. How can I help out?

We'll have volunteer sign ups available as the 2026 event approaches. Please stay tuned and be sure to follow us on socials for the call out!
