Gia Gordon
MG Author
Gia Gordon is an award-winning disabled author, youth activist, and former educator. She taught Spanish and ELD for nearly 30 years and helped to successfully establish the school’s first-ever conflict resolution program. Currently, Gia is co-founder of the non-profit Never Counted Out, providing books to classrooms and community programs with limited access. Common themes in Gia's work include chosen and found family, hidden identities, and living one's truth. When she’s not writing, Gia can be found thrifting or turning no-longer-wanted household goods into beautifully reimagined art.
