Elayne Crain

Elayne Crain is a proud writer of childish (and often laughable) things. She loves walks in the woods with her sons and partner, lively karaoke, and wildlife—especially the stacked-in-a-trench-coat sort. She and illustrator John Ledda are honored that their book, "There's Something Odd About the Babysitter," was a Summer 2025 Kids' Indie Next List pick.
