Curtis Manley

Curtis Manley was a geologist in a previous life. He writes fiction and nonfiction picture books, and his interests range from science and technology to art, haiku, and poetry. With his background in science, he enjoys including real-world facts even in stories that otherwise seem fantastic. His other books are “The Rescuer of Tiny Creatures”, “Just Right: Searching for the Goldilocks Planet”, “The Crane Girl”, “Shawn Loves Sharks”, and “The Summer Nick Taught His Cats to Read”. Curtis grew up in Pennsylvania but now lives east of Seattle with his wife, daughter, and cat.
