Annette Bay Pimentel writes award-winning nonfiction books for kids about the people and ideas that have shaped our world. She’s the author of How a Bear Became a Book: The Collaboration that Created Winnie-the-Pooh illustrated by Faith Pray) as well as other picture book biographies. When she’s not digging into archives or pounding away at her treadmill desk, she hikes, quilts, and helps administer her county library as an elected Library Trustee. She lives in Moscow, Idaho.
