Vikram Madan

Vikram Madan grew up in India where he spent much of his childhood doodling and writing poetry.  After a long detour working in tech, he now creates fun books for kids, including the Geisel Honor book OWL & PENGUIN, the award-winning poetry collections A HATFUL OF DRAGONS, THE BUBBLE COLLECTOR, and LORD OF THE BUBBLES, the early reader series BOBO & PUP-PUP, and the graphic novel series ZOONI TALES. His books have received starred reviews and multiple Junior Library Guild selections, been picked for ALA/ALSC lists, and shortlisted for book awards in several states. When not working on books, he makes whimsical paintings and public art.
