J.E. spent her early summers stuffing grocery bags with books at the local library, reading feverishly, then repeating the process week after week. So, it's not surprising that she thinks books + imagination are the best streaming service around. Her favorite books whisk her into adventures so immersive she loses track of time. Those are the types of books she writes, too.

Her debut middle grade novel, Control Freaks, received a starred review by Booklist and was selected as Must-Read for Summer by People and a Sizzling Summer Read by Kirkus. She can’t wait to meet everyone at Bigfoot!
